Iona Clanton

Mrs.  Iona Moore Clanton, age 81, of Buffington Road, Boaz, Alabama died on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Lackey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walls Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clanton was born in Alabama on February 8, 1937 to Chester & Josie Miller Moore. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Clanton is survived by her Daughters: Cindy & Danny Gaylor of Boaz and Carolyn & Debra Ogle of Boaz, Grandchildren: April Knight, Sonya & Leslie Richards, Taylor Ogle, Tonya & Gary Spatz and Michael & Jan Gaylor, 12 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Virgil & Diane Moore of Attalla, Special friend: Larry Olsen. She was preceded in death by her parents: Chester & Josie Moore, Husband: Edward Clanton, Son: Mike Clanton, Daughter: Pam Clanton and 4 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Pallbearers will be Leslie Richards, Gary Spatz, Shelly Clanton, Alex White, Jeff Gaylor and David Gaylor.
