Mrs. Hope Denise Stricker, 45 of Mt. Vernon Homes, Boaz, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at UAB Medical Center. The family plans a memorial service for later this week. Mrs. Stricker was born in Alabama on Oct. 12, 1970 to Buford Wayne & Lois Smothers Hamby. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Stricker is survived by her daughter: Kayla Vickers of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wayne and Lois Hamby and her husband: Norris Stricker.
The family requests neither flowers nor donations.
