Mrs. Hettie Estes Smith, age 93, of Boaz, Alabama died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Shepherd's Cove.
Service was Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Shannon Pullen officiating. Interment will be in the Smiths Chapel Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Smith was born in Georgia on Nov. 30, 1917 to Charlie & Lela Fergerson Estes. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her: Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Carl L. Smith, Jr. & Betty of Gadsden, Joyce Smith of Albertville and Glenn & Eloise Smith of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Carolyn & Richard Lee of Boaz. 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by Husband: Carl L. Smith, Sr. and Son: Rev. Herbert Smith.
Pallbearers were Grandsons and Grandsons-in-Law. Honorary Pallbearer was Shannon Smith.
