Herbert Payne
December 26, 1931 — April 9, 2015
Mr. Herbert A. Payne, 83, of County Road 4, Boaz, Alabama, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his residence.
Service will be Sunday, April 12, 2015, 2 o'clock p.m. at Blessing Church of Christ with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Dustin Brock and Jack Andrews will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. Payne was born in Alabama on Dec. 26, 1931 to Clinton & Edna Cole Payne. He was a retired Navy Veteran.
Mr. Payne is survived by his wife: Erma Payne of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Steven & Shelia Payne of Boaz, Granddaughters: Nichole & Chris Nixon and Crystal Roesner, Great Grandchildren: Brynleigh Wester, Alexis Wester and Carmen Roesner, Brothers: J. L. Payne of Albertville, Kenneth Payne of Huntsville and Eugene Payne of Virginia, Sister: Joyce Dobbins of Mexico. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Clinton & Edna Payne and a Daughter: Susan King.
