Mr. Simms was born in Ohio on October 19, 1952 to Henry & Violet Smith Simms

Mr. Simms is survived by Wife of 50 Years: Joan Simms. Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Christine (Kevin) Lewis of Albertville, Amber Kilgore (Jeff Mardis) of Altoona, Brandi (Dave) Chapman of Crossville. Grandsons: Casey Lewis, Kevin “Austin” Lewis, Joshua (Nellie) Kilgore, David Trent Chapman, Quentin Leroy Chapman. Granddaughter: Emily (James) Schmidt. Great Grandchildren: Maison Simms-Schmidt, Aubrey Kilgore. Sisters: Melody (Debra) Crutchfield of Boaz, Sheila (Allen) Bennett of Crossville. Brother-in-Law: John Burch of Arab. Sisters-in-Law: Carolyn Sue Horvath-Botts, Gina (Dean) Russell both of Ohio. Several Nieces & Nephews.

Mr. Simms was preceded in death by his Parents: Henry & Violet Simms. Grandparents. Nephew: Billy McGathey.
