Mrs. Helen J. Howard, age 92, of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away at her home at Regency Retirement Village, Huntsville. Mrs. Howard was a retired Bellsouth Asst. Mgr. Operator Services, Huntsville. She was born in Etowah County, Alabama on February 12, 1933 to Willis and Estell Holderfield Ross.

She is survived by her daughter: Ricki Jean Martin, bonus daughter: Mary Layton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Estell Holderfield Ross, sister Linda Jean Ross, her husband, Carl Milton Howard, sons, Carl Michael Howard and Carl Edward Howard.

Funeral Service will be held 2pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at McRae Chapel with Bro. Whitt Hibbs and Bro. Beaul Hunkapiller officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am until time of the service. Interment will follow at Forrest Home Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Steve Clay, Keaton Clay, David Howard, Jeff Duvall, Jason Welch, Daniel Welch.
