Georgia Kelley Chumley

Mrs. Georgia Kelley Chumley age 85 of Boaz Alabama, died on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at Three o’clock pm Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the First Baptist Church Boaz with Bro.  Steve Brown officiating and reading by Amanda Fordham. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday afternoon, April 29, 2023, from 1:00 pm until service time at the church.

Mrs. Chumley was born in Alabama on July 29, 1937, to Forest Grady and Mary Kathleen George Kelley. She was a retired elementary school teacher.

Mrs. Chumley is survived by her daughters: Kathy & Jim Fordham of Boaz and Debby Smith of Florida , Grandchildren: Nathan Fordham (Andrea), Josh Fordham (Amanda) and Mary Ann Hanner (Dillon), Great Grandchildren: Hunter Fordham, Cali Ann Hanner, Talen Asher-David Hanner, and Kinsley Fordham . She was preceded in death by her parents: F. G. & Kathleen Kelly and Husband: Rev. William Earl Chumley, Son-in-Law: David Charles Smith and Great Grandson: Asher David Hanner.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Fordham, Jimbo Fordham, Nathan Fordham, Josh Fordham, and Randy Dombrowski. Honorary Pallbearers will be Esther Sunday School Class.
