George Wilt

Mr. George Wilt, age 69, of Boaz, Alabama died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on August 9, 2026, at the Cowboy Church in Boaz with Bro. Michael Marsh officiating. A visitation will be held from 2 until service time at the church.

Mr. Wilt was born in Florida on December 4, 1956, to Everett & Shirley Hollinger Wilt. He retired from owning his own millwork business.

Mr. Wilt is survived by his Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Steven Wilt of Boaz, Brandon Wilt & Ashley Lanning of Albertville and Bradley Wilt & Bennett Wilt of Huntsville, Granddaughters: Dottie Wilt and Darcy Wilt, Brother: James Wilt and Sisters: Susan Ritter and Linda Latorre, Mother of his children: Cindy Wilt. He was preceded in death by his parents: Everett & Shirley Wilt.
