Gary Brent Stanfield

Mr. Gary Brent Stanfield age 60, of Boaz, Alabama, died on Friday, April 11, 2025, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 o’clock pm Friday, April 18, 2025, in the McRae Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until service time at the funeral home. Bro. Michael Marsh & Bro. Alan Hallmark officiating.

Mr. Stanfield was born in Bermuda, on March 12, 1965, to Gary Wayne Stanfield and Frances Fowler Stanfield. He was a retired police officer and Chief investigator with the Boaz Police Department, Investigator at the Albertville Police Department and Lead Detective with the Marietta, Georgia Police Department. He was also a proud US. Airforce Veteran.

Mr. Stanfield is survived by his wife: Kimberly Cullen Stanfield of Boaz, Son: Zachary Brent & Heather Stanfield of Albertville, Daughters: Deandra & Corey Armstrong and Mykala Stanfield & Summer Allen all of Boaz and Samantha West and Felicity & Bryce Wallace, Chosen Daughters: Tosha Abel & Brittney Jo Cothran, Grandchildren: Luke, Colton, Ryleigh and Kinsley Stanfield, Zayden, Zayne & Zander Cooper and Atalie Armstrong, Lillian Johnson, Cayden, & Jayden West. Sister: Nancy Stanfield of Guntersville, In-laws: Suzette & Johnny Pugh, Mike Cullen, and Amanda Leak, several nieces and nephews and special fur baby: Tinker Bell. He was preceded in death by his Father: Gary Wayne Stanfield and Mother: Frances Fowler Stanfield.
