Frances Williamson

Mrs. Frances Williamson, age 92, of Boaz, Alabama died on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Branchwater Village.

A funeral service will be held at one o’clock pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Chatman and Bro. Mike Springfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from eleven o’clock am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williamson was born in Alabama on December 6, 1933, to Marion & Pearl Armstrong Talley. She worked for the Ratliff’s Department Store in Boaz during the 1960’s and retired at the age of 83 from the Factory Connections Store in Guntersville. She and her husband, Edward, were founding members of Westside Baptist where he served as a deacon and she as church secretary for many years

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her: Son & Daughters-in-Law: Dr. Michael & Debbie Williamson and Glenese Williamson all of Albertville,

Grandchildren: Jordan Vecchio & Mike, Amanda Smith & Brad, Laura Lathan & Brent, Ryan Moon & Cody, Matt Moon & Ashley, and Chelci Garett & Austin Franklin, Great Grandchildren: Jett Wade Lathan, Gavin Moon, Mason Moon, Allie-Brynn Morrow, Elliott Moon and Ethan Moon. The family would like to acknowledge special friend and former pastor Bro. Keith Dodd. Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her Parents: Marion & Pearl Talley, Husband of 59+ years: Edward Williamson and Son: Randall Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Brent Lathan, Brad Smith, Matt Moon, Blake Diamond, Curt Williamson, and Doug Williamson.
