Frances Richey

Frances Richey, 74, of Albertville Alabama died Thursday, October 3, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral service will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Brooks officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Grove Oak.   The family will receive friends on the day of the service from noon until the time of service.

Mrs. Richey was born in Alabama on December 28, 1944 to Jesse & Iula Stewart Sams. She was a retired nurse with over 50 years of service.

Mrs. Richey is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-law Mary Beth & Jeff Baird of Albertville; Grandson & Wife: T. J. & Jodi Baird of Albertville, Great Grandson: Trevor Baird, Step-children Julie & Phil Myers and Jeffry & Donna Richey all of Attalla, Brother: Wendell Sams of Holy Pond and Sisters: Annie McCoy and Jane Bates both of Albertville and Evelyn Shirey of Guntersville. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse & Iula Sams and Husband: Joe Richey.

Pallbearers will be T. J. Baird, Phillip McCoy, Dusty Ashley, Eric Befford, Israel Ramsey and Jonathan Baird.
