Mrs. Ira Elizabeth "Cricket" Cofield, age 81, Ala. Hwy. 168, Boaz, Alabama died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Shepherd's Cove.
Service will be Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jerri Manasco officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Cofield was born in Marshall Co., Alabama on Nov. 5, 1929 to Garrett & Pauline Latham Grimes.
Mrs. Cofield is survived by her: Husband: G.W. Cofield, Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Pat & Phillip Stephens, Gail & Jerry Shirley all of Boaz. Granddaughter: Kristin & Josh Dingler. Great Grandchild: Connor Dingler. Sister: Joann Jolley of Albertville. Preceded in death by Grandson: Skipper Shirley. Granddaughter: Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Stephens.
Pallbearers are Billy Ted Cofield, Toney Cofield, Terry Cofield, Buddy Head, Josh Pounds and Mason Myatt.
