Mr. Edsel Calhoun, age 86, of Boaz, Alabama died on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at North Alabama Specialty Hospital.

Mr. Calhoun was born in Alabama on July 21, 1940, to Linos & Christine Ferguson Calhoun.

Mr. Calhoun is survived by his Wife: Alesia Calhoun of Boaz. Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Ray & Kitty Calhoun of Sardis, Tony & Maureen Calhoun of Georgia. Stepchildren: Kendra & Robert Ward of Boaz, David Kennedy of Guntersville. Grandchildren: Laura & Phil Humphries, Lacey & Josh Humphries, Leigh & Tyler Hall, Linsey & David Quinn, Stephanie & Derrick Wentworth, Beth & Chris Kerzic. A host of Great Grandchildren. Step-Grandchildren: Chani Godby, Dan & Heather Savela. Sister & Brother-in-Law: Carol & Tony Woodard of Jacksonville. Several Nieces & Nephews.

Mr. Calhoun was preceded in death by his Parents: Linos & Christine Calhoun. Wife: Lillian Calhoun. Sister: Betty Sue Calhoun.
