Mrs. Dot Waldrop, 75 of Manor House, Boaz, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her residence. Service will be Tuesday, May 3, 2016; Two o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel with Bro. Doyce Putman and Bro. Tony Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home, Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 o'clock until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Waldrop was born in Alabama on Sept. 11, 1940 to Samuel Jefferson & Zelma Geneva Couch Otinger. Mrs. Waldrop is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Hope & Ray Hill of Mississippi, Grandchildren: Brooke & Cain, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Richard & Earlene Otinger of Boaz, Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Eula Floeter and Pauline Morton both of Huntsville, Margaret O. & Robert Baker of Athens, Marie O. & Johnny Wier of Boaz, Jo Rene Kendrick of Mississippi, and a host of nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her Son: Chris Riddle, Parents: Sam J. & Zelma Couch Otinger, Brothers: Otra Otinger, Otis Otinger & S. J. Otinger, Sisters: Evelyn Dobbins, Geneva Teal and infant Mildred Lorraine Otinger.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Morton, Joseph Morton, Bob Baker, Frankie Otinger, Kenneth Otinger, Louis Sims, Ernie Meinecke and Mike Kendrick.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Boaz Senior Citizens Center or the Union Cemetery fund.
