Ms. Doris “Dot” King Howard, age 76 of Boaz passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at her residence.

 

Dot was a loving mother, aunt and friend, but her greatest love was being the best Nana to her grandchildren. She was a member of New Union First Congregational Methodist Church. She was employed by Beaulieu of America for 41 years and Marshall Medical Center South for 16 years. She was a loyal employee and friend to everyone she met, whether you were a fellow employee or just a visitor she met in the halls, she always greeted them with a smile and a warm heart. She will be missed by all.

 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, February 20, 2024., at McRae Funeral Home with Bro. Jason King officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00pm-4:00pm. At the funeral home

 

Ms. Howard is survived by her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Carissa & Lane Reinhardt of Boaz. Son & Daughter-in-Law: David & Rebecca Howard of Boaz. Grandchildren: Jackson Reinhardt, Emma Reinhardt, Rory Howard, Ava Howard, Elliot Howard. A host of beloved Nieces & Nephews.

 

Ms. Howard was preceded in death by her Parents: Carl King and Vera Fowler King. Brothers: Carl King Jr., Cecil King, Billy King, J.L. King, Bobby Joe King. Sister: Mary Ester Howard.
