Mrs. Deborah Crystal "Chris" DeMedicis, age 53, of Green Acres Road, Boaz, Alabama died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at her residence.
Service will be Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Charlie Champion officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. DeMedicis was born in Gary, Indiana on Feb. 27, 1958 to Ervin & Linda Engle Champion. She was a floral designer.
Mrs. DeMedicis is survived by her: Husband: Gerald DeMedicis of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: John & Elisabeth DeMedicis of Douglas, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Tonya & Russell Gilbreath of Kilpatrick, Grandchildren: Tanner DeMedicis, Will Gilbreath, Jakob DeMedicis, Lixie Gilbreath and Gracie Gilbreath, Brothers: Richard Champion of Boaz and Charlie Champion of Albertville, Sisters & Brothers-in-Law: Janie & Allen Poss of Boaz, Becky & William Pearson of Albertville, Half-Brother & Sister-in-Law: Billy & Kytha Champion of Albertville, Half-Sisters: Betty Champion, Doris Champion and Cathrine Champion all of Albertville. Mrs. DeMedicis was preceded in death by her Parents and a Son: Shannon Dewayne DeMedicis.
