Mr. David Horton, 81, of Emory Ave., Boaz, Alabama, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Grandview Medical Center.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 08, 2016, eleven o'clock a.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Blountsville Cemetery. Rev. Orien Ledford, Bro. Aaron Johnson and Bro. Jonathan Lancaster will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Horton was born in Alabama on April 14, 1934 to Rubin & Minnie Lou Bieble Horton. He was a retired Real Estate Agent.
Mr. Horton is survived by his Wife: Marty Bryson Horton of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Gregory & Cindy Horton of Adamsville, Granddaughter: Hollye Horton, Step-Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Dan & Myra Bryson of Alexander City, Don & Deena Bryson of Rainbow City and Doug & Cheryl Bryson of Birmingham,, Step-Grandchildren: Stephanie & Jody Johnson, Spencer & Dani Bryson, D. J. Bryson, Sara Bryson, Josh Bryson and Jake Bryson, 3-Step Great Grandchildren, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Ann & Don Cunningham of Rainsville Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: R. J. & Johnnie Horton of Ft. Payne, Tommy Horton of Rainsville and Howard & Diane Horton of Ft. Payne: He is preceded in death by his wife: Dottie Horton.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Horton, Tim Horton, Robby Robison, Clemon Camp, Bill Ayers, Tim Nelson and Charles Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be the R. P Steed Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church Boaz.
