Mr. Danny "Carthell" Hamilton, 64, of John L. Gap Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 at his residence.
Service will be Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, one o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel. Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hamilton was born Nov. 1, 1950 to James Earl & Fannie Lee Terrell Hamilton. He was a retired truck driver. Mr. Hamilton is survived by his Wife: Marilyn Johnson Hamilton of Boaz, Son: James Lee Hamilton of Florida, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Barbara Lynn & Jeff Cornelius of Rainsville, Step-Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Amy & Danny Jenkins of Reece City and Lisa & Billy Horsley of Ragland, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Audrey Bryant of Huntsville, Bonnie Wilbanks, Syble Galloway and Emma Allen all of Boaz. He was preceded in death by his Parents: James Earl & Fannie Lee Terrell Hamilton, Daughter: Melissa Hayes Wooten, Brother: Delmus Hamilton, Sisters: Yden Pace and Gaynell Mayes.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Cornelius, Danny Jenkins, Billy Horsley, Andy Johnson, Brandon Jenkins, Phillip Barnes and Michael Barnes.
