Mrs. Cleo Bennett McPherson, 98, of Summerville Road, Boaz, Alabama, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at her residence.
Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. R. G. Lyons will be officiating. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from eleven until service time at the church.
Mrs. McPherson was born in Alabama on Dec. 18, 1917 to Robert Leslie & Alpha Omega Johnson Bennett. She was a retired realtor.
Mrs. McPherson is survived by her Sons & Daughters-in-Law: Wayne & Judy McPherson of Florida, Barry & Sue McPherson of Georgia and Donna McPherson of Texas, Daughter: Carol McPherson of Boaz, Grandchildren: Greg McPherson, Geoff McPherson, Leslie Davis, Leah Dion, Jennifer Searcy and Michele Sheen, Great Grandson: Jacob Dion, Brothers: Bob Bennett of South Carolina, Paul Bennett of Athens, Frank Bennett of Red Bay and Gordon Bennett of Oneonta. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Byron McPherson, Son: David McPherson and Daughter: Sharon McPherson Chandler.
Pallbearers will be Greg McPherson, Geoff McPherson, Chris Dion, Mike Davis, Kevin Off and Matthew Gunter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 125 College Ave. Boaz, AL 35957.
