Mr. Charles Ray "Chief" Lightsey, age 51 of Bristow Cove Road, Boaz died Friday, April 25. 2014 in Tennessee.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 am in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Whitesboro Cemetery. Bro. Jackie Gaskin will be officiating with Ken Lightsey speaking. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Lightsey was born in Lowell, Indiana on Aug. 18, 1962 to James A. & Helen Abernathy Lightsey. He was a truck driver.
Mr. Lightsey is survived by his wife: Jane Lightsey of Boaz, Son: Davy Smith of Boaz, Daughter & Son-in-Law: Alisia & Chris Christian of Albertville, Granddaughter: Madison Christian of Albertville, Brother & Sister-in-law: Ken & Kathleen Lightsey of California, Sister: Diane Strickland of Boaz and several nieces, He was preceded in death by his parents.
