Cathy Riggins

Mrs. Cathy Riggins, age 79, of Boaz, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in Birmingham.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, at two o’clock pm at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Jody Vickery and Jeri Manasco officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2025, from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Riggins was born in Alabama on July 8, 1946, to Dial & Kate Pack Upton.

Mrs. Riggins is survived by her Husband: Neil Riggins of Boaz, Son: Jeff & Dutcha Lawson of Birmingham, Step-Son: Marty & Deborah Leeth of Owens Cross Roads, Neil’s Daughter: Mitzi & Bo Cooper of Boaz, Grandchildren: Ansley Lawson and Davis Lawson, Step Grandchildren: Zachary Leeth & Denise, Luke Leeth & Morgan. Several Step- Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Sister-in-Law: Belinda Upton, a niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dial & Kate Upton, Husband: Dixie Leeth, and Brother: Carey Upton.

Pallbearers will be Luke Leeth, Davis Lawson, Mike Gibbs, Cason Cooper, Lee Upton, and Grant Upton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Zachary Leeth.
