Carol Brewton

Mrs. Carol Brewton, age 80, of Boaz, Alabama, died Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Diversicare of Boaz.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at two o’clock pm at the Golden Heights Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Teal officiating. Interment will follow in Douglas Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from eleven o’clock am until service time at the church.

Mrs. Brewton was born in Alabama on January 12, 1945, to Arlin & Emmie Gilmer Gable. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brewton is survived by her Sisters: Annabell Taylor of Douglas, Jo Pate of Boaz, and Judy Floyd of Snead and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Arlin & Emmie Gable, Husband: Jack Brewton, Son: Terry Brewton, Brothers: Charles Gable, Wendell Gable, and Roy Gable, Sisters: Dot Ellis, Edna Gable, and Lillian Salers.
