Mr. Byron Stephens, 98, of Boaz, Alabama, died Monday, December 7, 2015 at Golden Living Healthcare.
Mr. Stephens is survived by his daughter-in-law Mary Stephens; granddaughters & sons-in-law Michelle & Roger Mardis, Kim & Shannon Ayers, and Kelly & Randall Hefner; great-grandchildren Andrew, Zachary, Stephen, & Mae Beth Mardis, Emma, Ethan & Elijah Ayers, Mary Kate, Joshua Grace, Rebekah and James Hefner; nieces and nephews Shirley & Jim Smith and Linda Smith; and special friend Lorene Cochran. He is preceded in death by his wife Nonie Stephens; and son Max Stephens.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Bright, and Bro. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery. The family will receive friends on the day of the service from 11:00 until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
Pallbearers will be Tim Miller, Steve Miller, Johnny Tucker, Zachary Mardis, Stephen Mardis, Van Ballentine, and Neale Chambers.
