Mr. Billy Hugh Bryant, age 70, of Oak Street, Boaz, Alabama died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Service will be Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at McRae Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Tony Holcomb officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Bryant was born in Albertville, Alabama on June 15, 1941 to Steeple & Mattie Jenkins Bryant. He was retired from the Boaz Street Department.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his: Wife: Ann Braswell Bryant, Granddaughter & Son-in-Law: Haley Bryant Buckelew & Jonathan Buckelew, Great Granddaughters: Alexus Needham and Jordan Needham, Brothers-in-Law & Sister-in-Law: Ralph Braswell and Lynn & Linda Braswell, Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his Parents, a Son: Richard Bryant and Sisters: Bernice Uptain and Betty Cromer.
Pallbearers were Jackie Pullen, Tracy Duvall, Ronald Scruggs, Jody Plunkett, Eric Sims, Mark Springfield and Mark Lingerfelt. Honorary Pallbearers were the Boaz Street Department and Boaz Police Department.
