Betty McCormick Smith, 81, of Elder Street, Boaz, Alabama died Friday, December 22, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center South.
The funeral service will be Sunday, December 24, 2017 at 2:00 p. m. at First Baptist Church Boaz with Bro. Wayne White and Dr. Aaron Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Forrest Home Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born in Alabama on May 3, 1936 to Loyd C. & Comella Kilpatrick McCormick. She was a clerk with the Sand Mountain Bank for many years as well as a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 62 years: Charles Smith of Boaz, Brother & Sister-in-law: Harold & Betty McCormick of Boaz and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Loyd & Comella McCormick, and Brothers: Troy McCormick and Travis McCormick.
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Ricky McCormick, Ken McCormick, Art Huber, Greg Zino, Jason McCormick, DeLaine McCormick and Casey McCormick.
