Ms. Barbara Gilliland, age 89, of Boaz, Alabama died on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 o’clock pm, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Douglas Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation.

Ms. Gilliland was born in Alabama on June 17, 1937, to Robert Hershel & Edna Pauline Tankersley Gilliland.

Ms. Gilliland is survived by her Son: Richie Lane of Boaz and Granddaughter: Rachel & Lee Hicks of Sardis, Grandchildren: Lincoln Hicks, Audrey Hicks, and Vivienne Hicks She was preceded in death by her Parents: Hershel & Pauline Gilliland.
