Mrs. Arnice Gillilan Brooks, age 95 of Albertville Nursing Home, formerly of Boaz, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at the Albertville Nursing Home.
Service will be Sunday Jan. 5, 2014, two o'clock p.m. at McRae Chapel with Bro. William C. Putman and Bro. Paul Lackey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday from 11 until service time at the funeral home
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her, Daughters & Son-in-Law: Ruth BeShears of Tarrant, Shirley & Donnie Hudgins of Boaz, 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Peggy Vongsubun of Ardmore, Mary Kaewim and Dianne Pongpakdee both of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jessie & Nancy Goble Gillilan, Husband: Cozell Brooks, Son: Marton Brooks, 8 Brothers and 1 Sister.
Pallbearers will be Michael BeShears, Judd Lackey, Lynn Gillilan, Jimmy Ray Gillilan, Johnathan Campbell and Marlin Gillilan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derrick Brooks, Reece Lackey and the Staff of the Albertville Nursing Home.
