Ms. Angie Johnson, age 56, of Albertville, Alabama, formerly of Boaz died on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center South.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 o’clock pm, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at First Baptist Church Boaz with Bro. Steve Brown and Bro. Kenny Smith officiating. Ms. Johnson will lie-in-state at the church from 1pm until service time. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. A visitation will be on Tuesday evening, July 28, 2026, from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Johnson was born in Alabama on December 27, 1969, to Glennis & Rebecca Canterbury Johnson. She was most recently a social worker for Marshall Medical Center North.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her Mother: Becky Johnson of Boaz, Sister: Cara & Anthony Whitehead of Albertville, Nephew: Forrest Whitehead, Niece: Hannah Whitehead, Great nieces: Stella Anders, Marty Anders, and Violet Anders. She was preceded in death by her Father: Glennis Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Dorrell, Patrick Williams, Greg Price, Forrest Whitehead, Jake Knighten, Mark Durham, and Tony Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Lingerfelt Eric White, and Scott Brannon.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Big Oak Ranch, First Baptist Church Boaz or a Charity of your Choice.
