A.D. Stephens

Rev. A. D. Stephens age 80, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Marshall Medical Center South.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at two o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Wiley Bailey, Bro. Darrell Jones officiating and special music by Joshua Malone. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery. A visitation will be on Friday, February 27, 2026, from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Stephens was born in Alabama on April 5, 1945, to Arther & Odell Swords Stephens. He was a retired truck driver and a well-known area minister.

Mr. Stephens is survived by his Sons: Brandon Stephens (Diane Lusas) of Nashville, Paul Malone & Laura of Boaz, Steven Brooks & Laura of Glencoe and, Grandchildren: Caleb J. Malone & Echo, Alexis Malone, Joshua & Ainsley Malone, Marrin Brooks, Luke Olson, Charlotte Olson, Clark Olson, and Horacio Contreras Rosas, Great Grandson: Liam Malone and Step-Great Grandson: Isaias Venancio, Sisters: Barbara Martin, Joan Bryant & James, and Patricia “Frissy” Harraid & Macky all of Albertville. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Arther & Odell Stephens and Wife: Connie Stephens.
